The Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry has just announced its decision to impose anti-dumping duties on certain hot-rolled steel products, alloy and non-alloy, imported from Vietnam. This is the result of nearly a year of investigation, in which the authorities concluded that these goods caused significant damage to the domestic steel industry.

Enterprises producing/exporting steel and aluminum products need to review their production and export activities to the EU, closely monitor the movements of this market to promptly develop response plans.
